The "Minecraft Earth" Beta Starts Its Global Takeover This Month

It's been about two months since we first learned about Minecraft Earth, the augmented real-world version of the game that lets you experience the real world a playground full of your blocky creations. The company said that a beta version of the game would be available this summer. The game is now available, and with a new trailer for the game, the company claims it will be available on iOS in the next two weeks. Android will follow "soon following that."

The launch on the iPhone isn't too surprising after we had our first glimpse of live gameplay during WWDC last month. While this new trailer has a lot of info on how you'll play the game, interested players may wish to go back to the Apple demo to get a better impressions of the experience to play in an online Minecraft world with their friends that overlays the real one.

To be one of the first players to gain access, you'll need sign up for the free game right here (you'll need a device with at minimum iOS 10 or Android 7 to be able to play, according to the FAQ). Access to the game is limited while they work out load on the game's servers, however you'll need to be active to stay in the game. If you don't play for seven days then someone else will take your slot. To sign up, you'll require an Microsoft or Xbox Live account. Once you've signed up, there is nothing more than waiting and building.

Are you thinking that life is good?  Minecraft pixelmon servers 's about to go into beta! A few locations will be receiving the Minecraft Earth closed beta. Find out more about the beta and sign up for a chance to play!
